Team Manager / Application Specialist

In this role I lead a team responsible for the Design, Build and Implemention of solutions in the NSW state-wide electronic medical record (eMR). The team's focus is on web application development, data analytics, application integration, automation and domain management. Major successes include:

• Development of the Drug & Alcohol component of the eMR as part of the Community Health & Outpatient Care (CHOC) program
• Creation of a clinical documentation suite for Mental Health Assessments and Treatment
• New workflow designs for all clinicians around admission assessment
• Several major code upgrades of the state-based build reference domains

Application Specialist: Core Systems & Powerchart

I was responsible for the implementation of the core functions of Cerner Millenium electronic Medical Record (eMR) in this large metropolitan Health Service with multiple hospitals: in effect, building the eMR 'from the ground up'.
This was the first comprehensive eMR implementation in NSW and provided the template for the rest of the state rollout.
Following implementation I maintained core millenium applications and Powerchart.

Application Specialist - Clinical Documentation

Business analysis, design, build and maintenance of point of care clinical documentation in Cerner Millennium.
Major achievements included the development of a comprehensive documentation suite for

• the Renal Transplant Service
• the Liver Service
• develop of original documentation design and build standards for the electronic Medical Record (eMR)

National Health Care Manager

I was responsible for the establishment and management of a comprehensive health care service designed for residents in immigration detention centres across all of Australia.

Senior Nurse Manager, Mental Health

Professionally and administratively responsible for managing mental health services across two major hospitals as well as community mental health services. Major achievements included the consolidation of inpatient services onto a single campus and the commission of a new, purpose built inpatient unit.
