Welcome to  Andy Phee’s Mindfulness website.

Here you will find information on what mindulness is;  who can benefit from it;  how it is learned and practiced;  and how you can access courses. There are also links to further reading and testimonies by previous course participants.

Andy has been studying, practicing and teaching mindfulness for several years and is passionate about mindfulness and living life with awareness and more choice in how we respond  to life’s ups and downs.

Andy’s teaching style is informal, friendly, encouraging and intended to support you in enhancing wellbeing and in cultivating a more spacious relationship with thoughts, feelings and relationships.

Andy runs classes for organisations, groups and individuals in London

Mindfulness

Mindfulness Meditation enables the practitioner to cultivate a more accepting, non judging and kindly awareness to thoughts, feelings and body sensations.

It is a particularly helpful technique for managing stress; anxiety; pain and repeated episodes of depression. It can enhance creativity and enable participants to make wise choices in how to respond to life’s challenges and to pay attention and nourish oneself more in life’s joys.

Mindfulness has been and continues to be rigorously researched by scientists and there is a strong evidence base demonstrating improvements in health and emotional wellbeing.

Mindfulness is recommened by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence for people who have repeated episodes of depression and the Mindful nation report in June 2015 makes recommendations for its implementation in health, education and the workplace.

The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking out new landscapes but  in having new eyes.
